Characters
Woody Woodpecker, voiced by Billy West, is a mischievous pileated woodpecker living in a tree-house in the suburbs of the Southland. His personality resembles Tom Sawyer, as he is lazy and often seeks to avoid work, which creates conflict with his rivals. He is proud of his Scottish heritage. Winnie Woodpecker, voiced by B. J. Ward, is Woody's girlfriend and a female pileated woodpecker with a more dignified demeanor.
Knothead and Splinter, voiced by E. G. Daily and Nika Futterman respectively, are Woody and Winnie's nephew and niece, young woodpeckers who cause trouble for their uncle. Buzz Buzzard, voiced by Mark Hamill, is a sleazy common buzzard and the main antagonist, frequently devising scams against the woodpeckers. Tweaky the Lackey, also voiced by Mark Hamill, is a domestic canary who reluctantly serves as Buzz's henchman. Wally Walrus, voiced by Billy West, is a Swedish walrus and Woody's neighbor, often a foil but not as antagonistic as Buzz.
Ms. Meany, voiced by Andrea Martin, is Woody's ugly old landlady, more violent and mean-spirited than other characters. Dapper Denver Dooley, voiced by Jim Cummings, is an obnoxious man-child who tries to spoil Woody's fun. Chilly Willy is a mute penguin living in Antarctica, whose misadventures stem from his efforts to find food or warmth.
