Razgriz
The Demon of Razgriz, often called Razgriz, is a mythical being from the Strangereal universe that lives in the icy Razgriz Straits.[1] It can take human form and control weather and the lives of mortals.[1] In literature, Razgriz appears as both a villain and a hero, depending on the story.[1] The only known in-universe source for the legend is the fairy tale A Blue Dove for the Princess.[1]
The infobox lists Razgriz's other names as 'Demon from the North Sea' and 'Plan Wrecker', and its gender as unknown.[5]

Attestation
According to that tale, Razgriz created a 70-day tempest with a hailstorm that killed all life in a war-torn land, including itself.[2] Years later, a traveler who claimed to be Razgriz healed the area and helped people resettle.[2]
Poem
A poem about Razgriz appears as loading quotes in Ace Combat 5, divided into three stanzas used for different mission groups.[3] Project Aces is given credit for the poem, but no one knows who exactly wrote it.[3]
Trivia
The demon is heavily linked to Norse valkyries, especially the valkyrie Ráðgríðr, sharing the meaning 'plan wrecker'.[4] Razgriz's gender is disputed among fans; the lyrics of 'The Unsung War' use masculine pronouns, but the male gender may be used in a gender-neutral way.[4]
