Lore & Background
Historically Inter were seen as the club of the Milanese bourgeoisie, nicknamed bauscia ("braggart"), and Milan as the working-class club, nicknamed casciavid ("screwdriver"). Since 1947 the two clubs have shared the San Siro, where Inter's ultras traditionally fill the Curva Nord and Milan's the Curva Sud. Milan's biggest derby win was 6-0 on 11 May 2001; the highest-scoring derby was Inter's 6-5 win on 6 November 1949.
