Premise

While surfing with his father's necklace, teenager Zak Storm is pulled into the Bermuda Triangle by a giant wave. He is rescued by a sentient ship named the Chaos and a talking sword called Calabrass. The necklace holds the Eye of Beru, granting him powers. To return home, Zak must captain the Chaos and unite the Seven Seas, assembling a crew of misfits: a ghost boy, an Atlantean princess, a Viking, and a space alien.

Characters

Conrad Zacharie Storm, known as Zak Storm, is a 13-year-old boy who enters the Seven Seas of the Bermuda Triangle while surfing. He is voiced by Michael Johnston in English and Hervé Grull in French. Chrysta Coraline Lejune, called Cece Lejune, is an Atlantean princess and Zak's first mate, keeping him grounded; she is voiced by Christine Marie Cabanos in English and Marie Nonnenmacher in French. Crogar, a 15-year-old Viking pirate, serves as the crew's muscle and often shouts "Ragnarok!"; he is voiced by Chris Smith in English and Marc Duquenoy in French.

Caramba is a small green alien in a yellow robotic exoskeleton who acts as the engineer, voiced by Max Mittelman in English and Olivier Podesta in French. Calabrass is Zak's magical talking sword that grants him powers and holds the Seven Eyes of the Seven Seas, each giving a different elemental ability; he is voiced by Kyle Hebert in English and Jérôme Wiggins in French.

The Chaos is a living high-tech pirate ship that does not speak but shows personality and loyalty. Skullivar, the ruler of a skeleton army, is Zak's archenemy, voiced by David Roach in English.
