Main characters

Kane is a green Tyrannosaurus rex who leads the Posse. He is headstrong and confident, with a just heart that drives him to oppose Skor's evil plans. Kane can become overly serious and prideful, but he is a natural leader who prioritizes rescuing his friends. He prefers quieter hobbies, previously disliked loud music, and is less familiar with the modern world.

Lucy is a yellow Triceratops and the only female member of the Posse. She is resilient, calm, and collected, able to follow and enforce Kane's orders without hesitation, though she can be sarcastic. Lucy is knowledgeable about both the dinosaur era and modern times, and she enjoys modern "girl stuff" such as having "girl talks." She sometimes becomes annoyed by the immature remarks or actions of Jet and Chow.

Jet is an orange Pteranodon who appears street smart and worldly, especially in language, often referring to people as "Dudes." He comes across as rude, somewhat of a jerk, and comic relief, full of himself but capable of being helpful and quick to cover up situations with words. Jet can be hasty, leading to capture or trouble, often when trying to command the Posse and take charge from Kane. Chow is a red Stegosaurus with a voracious appetite.

He is the largest and physically strongest dinosaur in the Posse, not the smartest, and can be clumsy and naïve. His appetite often gets the best of him, but he is friendly and kind, though one should not hide food from him. Chow adapts quickly to mimic the personalities and mannerisms of others. Edgar Chudley (Gang Udi in the Korean version) aids the Posse with his knowledge of mathematics, science, and technology, though his overthinking can be excessive.

He lives in the museum with the Posse. Polly Daniels (Sunwoo Yuri in the Korean version) is another friend who studies paleontology, and Edgar has a crush on her. Agatha Dimplecorn (Grandmother Sarah in the Korean version) is an elderly lady who often unintentionally heckles the Kung Fu Dino Posse.
