Tobot
Transforming car robots protect a neighborhood from crime.
Tobot is a South Korean animated television series for preschool and younger school children, produced by Young Toys and Retrobot. The series features transforming cars, some of which can fly, such as Tobot W or Tobot Y. Its toy line surpassed Lego as South Korea's most popular toy line in 2013. An official English dub was produced in Canada by Ocean Productions and Blue Water Studios, airing in 2018 and later available on Netflix. A spinoff, Athlon Tobot, aired from 2016 to 2017, followed by a reboot in 2018 titled Tobot V (English dub: Tobot: Galaxy Detectives), animated by Studio Button. A sequel to the original series, Tobot: Heroes of Daedo City, was released in 2023, animated by Retrobot and featuring Tobots designed after Hyundai vehicles.
