The Duviri Paradox expansion was released on April 26, 2023. It details the origins of the Drifter, the temporally paradoxical adult version of the Operator who first appeared in The New War, and introduced a new landscape, Duviri, with three game modes.
Lore & Background
Duviri plays as a roguelike: the player picks a Warframe and weapons from randomised choices and collects Decrees that last only for that run, with permanent upgrades unlocked over longer play. The player is mostly restricted to the Drifter, with Warframes available through certain upgrades and in a location called the Undercroft, and must complete objectives before slaying an Orowyrm.
