The Old War
The war between the Orokin and the returning Sentients that created the Tenno.
The Old War began when the Sentients, the self-replicating machines the Orokin had sent through the Void to terraform the Tau system, returned determined to wipe out their makers. It led to the creation of the Tenno and the collapse of the Orokin Empire, long before the Tenno are woken by the Lotus.
