Tourist Bus Simulator

Tourist Bus Simulator is a bus simulation game from TML-Studios and Aerosoft, built with Unreal Engine 4 and released for Windows on 6 December 2018. The game takes place on a 1:5 scale version of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, with twenty recreated cities, beaches, and landmarks such as Fuerteventura Airport. The main licensed vehicle is the MAN Lion's Coach, alongside off-road and service vehicles.

Players can choose between freeplay mode, where they set their own route, bus, and weather, or a more challenging career mode that begins with a tutorial lasting about an hour. In career mode, the player runs a bus company near the airport, hiring staff, negotiating wages, and assigning routes from an office. Some routes are permanent and provide steady income, while others are one-time jobs. Employees must stay satisfied, and vehicles need maintenance in the on-site garage. Players can also buy and decorate apartments. Earning XP and completing levels unlocks a shuttle service and an emergency callout vehicle. A side quest rewards players with a dirt buggy, with its parts hidden across the island.

Developed by German studio TML-Studios, who previously made Fernbus Simulator, the game launched on Windows on 6 December 2018. Console versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S followed on 12 May 2022, with a separate release for those consoles on 12 May 2023, ported by Zero Games. The console versions received very negative feedback due to numerous technical bugs and a lack of updates.
