• The game was released on Windows via both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Development

Halfbrick Studios developed the game with an original story by series creator Joe Brumm. CEO Shainiel Deo aimed to create a game families would cherish. Brumm and Deo had a pre-existing friendship from past projects like Dan the Man, which helped produce an authentic Bluey experience. Brumm described the setup as feeling like a Commodore 64 platformer. Creative inspiration came from the episode Dragon, which established the children's age-appropriate artstyle, Bandit's worse artstyle from bullying, and Chilli's neat drawings from encouragement.

Reception

Critics gave generally positive reviews, noting it as a noticeable improvement over previous Bluey video games. CGMagazine praised its lack of complexity, calling it genuinely delightful. GameSpot found it superior to Bluey: The Videogame. GamingonPhone stated that while its simplicity and length may not appeal to hardcore gamers, it succeeds at creating a joyful experience celebrating creativity, family, and play.
