Titanfall Online
A cancelled free online shooter for the Asian market.
Nexon developed Titanfall Online, a free-to-play first-person shooter based on the Titanfall franchise, but it was ultimately cancelled. Aimed at Asian audiences, it followed the model of other regional online adaptations like Call of Duty Online and Battlefield Online. A beta launched in South Korea during 2016, with future plans for China and elsewhere, yet the game was shut down and its servers went offline in 2018.

Overview
Electronic Arts and Nexon partnered again for the Asian market, creating Titanfall Online after their work on the FIFA Online series. The game blends content from the original Titanfall with new additions, such as three fresh weapons and one exclusive map. Only four titans are available: three from the first game plus a new one called Destroyer, which is based on the Ogre. Players can choose from four pilots—Iron, Starseeker, Hollow, and Preacher—each with a unique backstory and look, but they all play identically, with only cosmetic differences. The Titanfall series would not introduce distinct playable characters again until Apex Legends.
