Jack Cooper
The Militia rifleman who pilots BT-7274 in Titanfall 2.
Jack Cooper is the protagonist of the Titanfall 2 single-player campaign, a Rifleman Third Class in the Frontier Militia voiced by Matthew Mercer. Sent to the IMC-held planet Typhon as part of a Militia assault, he takes over his mentor Captain Tai Lastimosa's Titan, BT-7274, after Lastimosa is mortally wounded by the Apex Predators, and inherits Lastimosa's mission to rendezvous with Major Eli Anderson. Cooper finds Anderson dead from a time-travel mishap and learns of the Fold Weapon, an IMC device that can destroy whole planets, which the IMC intends to use on the Militia home planet Harmony.
Reader's Guide
On foot, players use Cooper's Pilot stealth ability, jump-kit traversal and the game's firearms, and there are platforming sections that use his parkour abilities to solve environmental puzzles and reach new areas. Dialogue options let Cooper talk to BT-7274 at points in the campaign, which develops both characters and is often played for comedy.
