BT-7274
Jack Cooper's Vanguard-class Titan in Titanfall 2.
BT-7274 is a Vanguard-class Titan in the single-player campaign of Titanfall 2, voiced by Glenn Steinbaum. He belongs to Captain Tai Lastimosa of the Frontier Militia; when the Apex Predators, mercenaries led by Kuben Blisk and contracted by the IMC's General Marder, mortally wound Lastimosa on Typhon, the dying captain transfers control of BT to rifleman Jack Cooper. BT tells Cooper that he has also inherited Lastimosa's mission, Special Operation 217, a rendezvous with Major Eli Anderson. The pair fight their way past the Apex Predators Kane, Ash, Richter and Viper, and BT uploads part of his AI into Cooper's helmet so they can communicate through time.
Reader's Guide
BT accompanies the player for most of the campaign and changes his weapon loadout on command to suit fights against local wildlife, IMC infantry and other Titans. At certain points the player can pick dialogue options and have Cooper talk to BT, which develops the two characters and is often played for comedy; Game Informer's Javy Gwaltney compared the pairing to a buddy comedy and called BT a relatable character.
BT surrenders the Ark to save Cooper and is destroyed by Slone for helping him escape, but he first gives Cooper a SERE kit and his data core, which Cooper installs in a new Vanguard chassis provided by Sarah Briggs. Reunited, the two fight to the base where the Fold Weapon is being readied against Harmony and launch themselves into its superstructure; BT hurls Cooper free before sacrificing himself, destroying the Ark, the Fold Weapon and the planet.
