Background
In the shelter Yuugo found a letter from William Minerva telling the children to go to Goldy Pond, where Minerva had left something more for them. There they met the Poachers, who hunt children for fun, and Leuvis killed all his friends; Yuugo barely escaped. He returned to the shelter and lived there alone as a hermit for thirteen years. Once cheerful and optimistic, he had valued his family above everything before losing them.
