Maria is a minor character in The Promised Neverland, a girl born and raised at Glory Bell Orphanage. Thirteen years before the main story she escaped from the orphanage with Yuugo, Lucas and sixteen other children.

Background

The group sheltered at Shelter B06-32 before heading for the human reserve in search of William Minerva. On the way the Poachers captured them and took them to Goldy Pond, where Leuvis killed Maria and all her friends except Yuugo and Lucas, who barely escaped.
