Valhal
Valdemar's warrior faction, a paradise for battle maniacs.
Valhal is a warrior faction devoted to war, a paradise for battle maniacs, led by Valdemar and his wife Gudrun. Unlike the Holy Church it does not recruit factions or conquer territory but focuses on people, so its members can also belong to other factions or pantheons. It began as Valdemar's comrades in arms, who made him their figurehead. Since Valdemar does not care about running an organization, it is Gudrun who brought it into order and really runs it.

Background
Valhal takes its name from Valdemar's mead hall and began as the comrades who followed him into battle and made him their figurehead. Because it recruits people rather than factions or territory, its members may also belong to other pantheons. Valdemar has no taste for administration, so his wife Gudrun, who brought the loose band into order, is the god who truly runs it. No organisation will go to war with Valhal, which has never lost one; it also guaranteed that no outsider would interrupt the duel between Yip of Yore and the Malefic Viper.
