The Holy Church
The Holy Mother's vast church, powered by the faith of its followers.
The Holy Church is a pinnacle faction of the multiverse founded by the Holy Mother, and many consider it the most powerful faction because of its huge membership and the fanatical loyalty of the faithful. Most are drawn by the promise of the Holyland, where the faithful go after death. Faith is a tangible energy that powers both the Holy Mother and the Holyland, and the Church puts the good of the collective first, with the strong uplifted and the weak supporting them.

Background
The Church puts the collective above the individual: members surrender natural treasures for the good of the whole, and the many weak lend their souls and life force so the strong can win. The faithful are promised the Holyland, a realm from the Holy Mother's transcendent skill where the blessed live out their full lifespan as Holy Spirits who can never leave or level up again. Critics, the Malefic Viper among them, call it a faith farm that quietly consumes its believers. The Church has warred without end against the Empire of Blight and once joined the Risen against the vampires.
