William Hanson
The Tutorial's killer, resurrected by Eversmile, now a Heretic karmic mage.
William Hanson is a young Metal Savant who practices karmic magic. In his late teens when the Tutorial began, he had been confined to an in-patient mental health facility; he is highly intelligent and a diagnosed psychopath. During the Tutorial he ambushed and killed many participants for experience until Jake killed him. Eversmile later resurrected him with one of Yggdrasil's Golden Leaves and blessed him. After the conflict with Ell'Hakan, William realized Eversmile had deliberately hobbled his path, renounced the blessing and became a Heretic, and he has since slowly rejoined the people of Earth.
