Bloodlines
Rare, soul-bound powers that the System cannot create.
Bloodlines are innate sources of power tied to a person's true soul rather than granted by the System. They are inherited or naturally awakened traits that can strongly shape a being's potential, abilities, Records, Path, skills and evolution. Bloodlines are extremely rare: the System cannot create new ones, though it sometimes recycles them from the dead, and new bloodlines appear more often in newly initiated universes than in established ones. Whoever first awakens a bloodline receives the title Bloodline Patriarch or Bloodline Matriarch.
