Trinity's Heart Failure

In The Matrix Reloaded, Trinity is shot by Agent Thompson inside the Matrix while falling off a building, and her heart stops. Neo, who has foreseen her death in a vision, catches her before she hits the ground.

Lore & Background

Trinity had taken the place of the destroyed Vigilant's crew to disable a back-up power station, so that Neo could enter the Source; there Agent Thompson cornered her. Neo, offered by the Architect the choice of rebooting the Matrix or saving Trinity, chose Trinity.
