Washington Liberation Front

The Washington Liberation Front (WLF) is a paramilitary group based in Seattle, formed as a resistance against the Federal Disaster Response Agency (FEDRA). The WLF is led by Isaac Dixon, a ruthless former FEDRA general, and faces a war in their pursuit for liberty. Members include soldiers like Abby, a WLF soldier who has her worldview challenged after killing Joel for her father's death; Owen, a former Firefly and gentle person whose physical strength forces him to fight enemies he does not hate; Nora, a WLF military medic and former Firefly who has difficulty accepting her past behavior; Mel, a former Firefly and doctor in the WLF committed to her role while struggling with the realities of war; and Manny, a loyal soldier who fears failing his friends and maintains a jovial attitude despite the pain of his past. The WLF operates in Seattle, where they are engaged in a war with the Seraphites, a religious group based in the city.
