Canterbury

The ice hauler whose destruction starts the series.

The Canterbury is an ice-hauling ship running from Saturn's rings to Ceres. In Leviathan Wakes it answers a distress signal and sends five crew in a shuttle: executive officer James Holden, chief engineer Naomi Nagata, pilot Alex Kamal, engineer Amos Burton and medic Shed Garvey. An unknown stealth warship then destroys the Canterbury with nuclear weapons. The survivors are ordered to the Martian battleship Donnager and later flee to OPA leader Fred Johnson.
