Neighbors from Hell

Characters

Balthazor Hellman, voiced by Will Sasso, is the family's patriarch. He is naive and kind-hearted, with vast knowledge of human behavior gained from watching human television in Hell. He constantly tries to get promoted or demoted at work to get closer to the drill he was sent to destroy. He has an evil side, as shown when he nearly drowned Tina's father Zebulon for insulting his father. He is self-conscious about being overweight and cares deeply for his friends and family, often ending episodes with a group hug and stating "I love you all." He can breathe fire from his mouth, nostrils, and once from flatulence.

Tina Hellman, voiced by Molly Shannon, is Balthazor's physically attractive and strong-willed wife. She is the mother of Josh and Mandy, has a short temper, and is a bad driver. She is very protective of her family, an alcoholic, and obsessed with gossip, often seen with an alcoholic drink and a gossip magazine. She is bitter about her transition from a hardworking employee to a housewife, and she and Balthazor have a passionate, sexually charged marriage.

Pazuzu, voiced by Patton Oswalt, is the family's helpful goblin dog who pretends to be a regular dog on Earth. He can freeze and unfreeze time in specific situations and is fond of pop-culture sensations like Lady Gaga and the Jonas Brothers. He often engages in mischief with Vlaartark.

Vlaartark Mimlark, voiced by Kyle McCulloch, is the eccentric, possibly schizophrenic uncle of Josh and Mandy. He enjoys eating cats and considers himself of a higher standard. It is never stated whether he is Balthazor or Tina's brother, though both call him "uncle." He also has gerontophilia.
