A re-imagined Ben Tennyson discovers the Omnitrix and its alien powers.
Ben 10 is an American animated television series that reboots the 2005 Cartoon Network series of the same name, created by Man of Action. It is set in a different continuity from previous Ben 10 shows, functioning as a parallel world. The series premiered in Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific on October 1, 2016, and concluded on April 11, 2021, after four seasons, a film, and three specials.

Plot
Ten-year-old Ben Tennyson spends his summer vacation traveling across the country with his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max in an RV called the Rustbucket. After finding a high-tech watch known as the Omnitrix, which allows him to transform into ten alien heroes, he becomes a superhero. At each stop, Ben battles supervillains such as Dr. Animo, Hex, Zombozo, Steam Smythe, and the Weatherheads, among others. With Gwen and Max's help, he hones his hero skills despite having much to learn.
Characters
Ben Tennyson, voiced by Tara Strong, is the ten-year-old cousin of Gwen and grandson of Max who wields the Omnitrix, a watch that turns him into ten extraterrestrial creatures. Strong reprises her role from the original series. Gwen Tennyson, voiced by Montserrat Hernandez, is Ben's cousin, older by seven seconds, who uses her resourcefulness and intellect to help stop villains; she has not yet developed her magical abilities. Max Tennyson, voiced by David Kaye, is Ben and Gwen's paternal grandfather. Kevin Levin, voiced by Greg Cipes, is Ben's former school bully who wields the Antitrix, an Omnitrix derivative allowing him to turn into genetically altered versions of Ben's aliens plus an eleventh alien named Bashmouth; he becomes a reluctant ally after the last episodes of Season 3 and secretly harbors a crush on Gwen. Phil Billings, voiced by John DiMaggio, is an old friend of Max and inventor of the Omni-Copter. Glitch, voiced by Tara Strong, is a fusion of Ben and Upgrade's DNA created in "Omni-Tricked" who later appears as an enhanced Rustbuggy. Azmuth, voiced by David Kaye, is the elderly Galvan creator of the Omnitrix imprisoned by Vilgax in the Null Void. Grand Magistrate, voiced by Roger Craig Smith, leads the Incurseans. Ben 10,000, voiced by Fred Tatasciore, is an adult version of Ben from the future.
Production
Cartoon Network announced the revival series on June 8, 2015. The series had its world premiere in Australia on October 1, 2016, and premiered in the United States on April 10, 2017. It is produced by Cartoon Network Studios, created and executive produced by Man of Action Entertainment, with John Fang as supervising producer and executive producer. Animation was done by Sunmin Image Pictures and Mua Film. The series was renewed for a second season on May 22, 2017, premiering February 19, 2018; a third season on March 8, 2018, premiering February 23, 2019; and a fourth season on January 10, 2019, premiering January 19, 2020. On February 17, 2021, three 44-minute specials were announced.

In October 2017, Panini UK partnered with Cartoon Network to launch a magazine featuring an original 8-page comic strip each month written by Jason Quinn with art by Russ Leach. A toy line by Playmates Toys was announced in June 2015 and released in the U.S. at Toys R Us in June 2017 and at other retailers in August. A video game based on the series was released worldwide on November 10, 2017, for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, published by Outright Games and distributed by Bandai Namco Entertainment in the EMEA. A second game, Ben 10: Power Trip, was released on October 9, 2020. Ben 10 Challenge, a live-action game show produced by La Competencia Productions in Madrid for Turner EMEA, premiered in the UK and Ireland on October 13, 2017.
