Premise
Taking place in the 1970s, this series is both a spoof and a loving homage to blaxploitation films. It follows Black Dynamite, Bullhorn, Cream Corn, and Honey Bee through wild, dangerous adventures that often feature cameos from famous figures like Michael Jackson, O. J. Simpson, Bill Cosby, and many others. The main antagonist is President Richard Nixon, who also served as the primary villain in the original movie. The show is a prequel to the film, which explains why characters like Bullhorn and Cream Corn—who died in the movie—are still alive here. This timeline is confirmed in an episode where Cream Corn accurately predicts how he will later die while inside a helicopter. The series also nods to the film through elements like Fiendish Dr. Wu leading a group of ninjas.
