Spinoffs

A large number of contestants from Flavor of Love, Rock of Love with Bret Michaels, and I Love New York were brought together in a mansion in Mexico to compete in a co-ed battle of mental and physical challenges for $250,000 on I Love Money, filmed from February to March 2008 and premiering July 6, 2008. New York Goes to Hollywood began on August 4, 2008, consisting of ten 30-minute episodes; the show followed New York as she sought an acting job in Hollywood, putting her relationship with Tailor Made on hold. At the series' end, Pollard decided to continue auditioning and mentioned a possible "New York Goes to Hollywood: Part 2" or a return to dating with "I Love New York 3." Brothers Ahmad (Real) and Kamal (Chance) Givens, who did not win I Love New York, received their own spin-off, Real Chance of Love, premiering October 20, 2008. On that show, the Stallionaires brothers starred in a dating competition with seventeen female contestants; Ahmad selected "Corn Fed" and Kamal selected no one in the first season, while a second season premiered August 3, 2009 and ended October 26, 2009, with Ahmad selecting "Doll" and Kamal selecting "Hot Wingz." New York Goes to Work premiered May 4, 2009, following New York as she looked for a regular job; after the finale, viewers voted for her next step, choosing I Love New York 3. A casting call was issued for a VH1 dating show starring Frank Maresca (The Entertainer), tentatively titled The Entertainer of Love, but it was revealed on the VH1 Blog as Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair, premiering January 3, 2010.
