Beyond the Dawn

Background

A year after the merging of Dahna and Rena, Nazamil is chased out of Niez by angry Dahnans and runs into Alphen and Shionne, who show her compassion. She joins the party as they seal a mausoleum where the remaining Helganquil lie dormant, revealing an incomplete crest, and is taken to live in Viscint. When zeugles attack Niez she defends the town by hollowing them, but the townspeople, remembering Almeidrea's hollowing, call her a monster and shoot at her; Alphen takes the wound and flies into a fury, and she quietly leaves.

Weeks later she returns as leader of Cal Beisel, a group that puts suppressor masks on people to end all conflict by making everyone the same. When the party rebukes her she dons the prime mask that controls all the others and links herself to the Keystone, a facility controlling the mausoleums; the party fights her and the Oppressor she becomes until she tears down the walls of her mind and throws the mask away. The masks dissolve, and Nazamil leaves on a journey of her own.

Apparitions of Vholran and Zephyr appear as optional bosses. A Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition including the expansion was announced on February 5, 2026.
