Last updated
The series follows a CEO who travels to Granada, Spain, seeking a missing game developer and meets the developer's sister, a hostel owner.[1] From December 1, 2018, until January 20, 2019, tvN broadcast the series on Saturdays and Sundays at 21:00 KST, and Netflix also made it available for streaming.[2] The drama's name refers to the classical guitar composition "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" by Francisco Tárrega, which appears in the show's soundtrack.[3]
Making and release
Director Ahn Gil-ho and writer Song Jae-jeong, known for "Stranger" and "W," created the series.[4] Netflix premiered the series worldwide on December 1, 2018, with European and South American viewers gaining access from December 11.[1] Producers unveiled two main posters for the drama on November 1, 2018.[5] In May 2018, the initial script reading was held.[6]
From late May through June, the production shot overseas in Granada, Barcelona, Girona, and Terrassa.[7] On November 28, 2018, a preview screening occurred at CGV theaters.[8]
