What the cited sources add

The PlayStation Blog post by Orlady confirms that God of War Sons of Sparta is a 2D action platformer with a canon story set during Kratos' youth at the Agoge.[10] The same source notes that TC Carson reprises his role as the adult Kratos narrator for the first time in over a decade.[10] The blog post also states that the game features hand-drawn pixel animation and was developed by Mega Cat Studios.[10]
