Background
Abel Teller is born at St. Thomas, and in the pilot the pediatric surgeon Dr. Namid operates on him with Tara assisting. Club members treated there include Chibs Telford after a car explosion and Juice Ortiz after he is stabbed twice in the back in jail, and Clay Morrow and Gemma Teller-Morrow both spend time there as patients. Wendy Case is admitted after a drug overdose while pregnant, and Kyle Hobart is dropped at the front doors after Tig Trager burns off his club tattoo. Tara stays on the staff until Gemma murders her.
