Background
Tig steps down as sergeant-at-arms in season 4 after learning of Clay's schemes and carrying the guilt of having killed Donna Winston by mistake in a botched hit on Opie. When he accidentally kills Damon Pope's daughter, Pope has Tig's daughter Dawn burned to death; after Jax saves him from Pope, Tig becomes fiercely loyal to him. In the final seasons he has a relationship with Venus Van Dam. When Jax leaves the club in the series finale, new president Chibs Telford names Tig vice president, the rank he still holds when he appears in Mayans M.C.
