Lore & Background
Sly met Bentley and Murray in the orphanage he was sent to as a child. From Sly 2 onwards the player can also play as Murray, whose strength sets him apart.
Reader's Guide
In the fourth game he has a much smaller role, guarding the gang's Paris hideout and the Thievius Raccoonus while the others travel through time.
After Bentley's injury at the end of Sly 2, Murray blamed himself, left the gang and went to the Australian Outback, studying under the Guru. He returned in Sly 3 when the mob boss Octavio attacked Bentley in Venice.
