Sadie Adler, played by Alex McKenna, is a gunwoman and bounty hunter. She grew up in the mountains, where she learned to ride, shoot and hunt, and ran a farm with her husband Jake until O'Driscolls killed him in their home while she hid. Arthur, Dutch and Micah killed the O'Driscolls and rescued her, inadvertently setting her house ablaze, and she stayed with the gang, vowing revenge.
Reader's Guide
Sadie grows tired of camp chores and pushes to join the gang's heists. While the senior members are stranded on Guarma she and Charles relocate and protect the rest of the group, and afterwards she and Arthur rescue the captured John against Dutch's wishes. She and Arthur can end the O'Driscoll gang at their ranch, where she kills the man who murdered her husband, and she later helps Arthur rescue Abigail from the Pinkertons. By 1907 she is a successful bounty hunter who employs John; she, Charles and John attack Micah's new gang, where she is stabbed in the stomach.
