Synopsis

The series is set on a future Earth after a data-processing software bug prevented detection of a meteorite, leading to a disaster called The Great Crash that destroyed nearly all life. Survivors formed the World Federation, but a dictator named Thanatos, a human wearing a helmet, used an army of cyborgs called Thanors to start the Mega War and take control of Europe. The Centurions of Freedom, led by Commander Richard Julian, defeated Thanatos, who then took refuge in the ruins of Glorious City, where a black liquid from the meteorite called Dark Torrent allowed him to recruit new Thanors from survivors. The story follows Captain Chris Colorado, a former soldier recruited by Julian, who reveals that Chris is the son of William-Erwin Krantz, a Centurion who infiltrated Thanatos's army but went missing and is presumed a traitor. Chris accepts the role of primary secret agent to search for the truth about his father, leading to dangerous adventures that uncover secrets about his family and the Great Crash.

Main characters

Chris Colorado is the main character, one of the World Federation's best soldiers, an expert pilot, and accomplished in martial arts with a doctorate of law and science. His main fear is rats. He was forced out of the army after high-ranking soldiers planted evidence of theft, fearing he might defect like his father. He lived in his grandfather Samuel Colorado's house at the bottom of the Grand Canyon before agreeing to become Commander Richard Julian's primary agent. Chippowok is an Apache of the Hopi tribe, childhood friend and ally of Chris, who saved Chris's life after finding him lost in the desert. He hates his real name, Heart of Thunder, and often uses tribal sayings. He later loves Chris's sister, Victoria, now renamed Jennifer. Richard Julian is a commander of the Centurions of Freedom who defeated Thanatos and was elected World Commander, with a new world capital in Chichen Itza. Jenifer Julian is Richard Julian's daughter, later revealed to be Victoria Krantz, Chris's sister.
