Distortion World

The altered-physics dimension introduced in Pokémon Platinum.

The Distortion World is an area introduced in Pokémon Platinum, where physics work differently from the Sinnoh region in which the game is set. It arrived alongside Giratina's new Origin Form, and the developers based it on ideas such as antimatter and mass-energy equivalence, calling it the game's core concept.
