Hisui

Hisui is the name of the Sinnoh region centuries before Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, and the setting of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, based on Hokkaido during early Japanese colonization. Arceus sends the player back in time to encounter every Pokémon there, and they join the Survey Corps of the Galaxy Expedition Team, which has come to chart and study it. Most of Hisui is open wilderness full of wild Pokémon, with one significant settlement and several small campsites.
