Lore & Background
In more recent times, the region faced a crisis when Team Plasma rose to power, advocating for the liberation of Pokémon from human ownership. Led by the enigmatic N and his ally Ghetsis, this organization challenged the very foundation of the trainer culture that had existed for generations. Their conflict forced trainers like Ash Ketchum's counterpart in the anime, as well as local heroes, to confront what it truly means to live together with Pokémon.
In Their Own Story
The wind howled through the skyscrapers of Castelia City, carrying the scent of rain and old stone. A young trainer stood on a rooftop, looking out over the sprawling metropolis where neon lights reflected off wet pavement. Below, a Pidgeot soared past a towering billboard, its wings cutting through the smog-free air. The city felt alive, not just with people, but with the countless Pokémon that called this concrete jungle home. Somewhere in the distance, the faint roar of a dragon echoed from the mountains, a reminder that even here, ancient forces watched over the land.
