Z-Crystals
Items that turn moves into Z-Moves
Z-Crystals are items that let a Pokemon upgrade a move into a Z-Move, used together with a Z-Ring (or the Z-Power Ring in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon). In Alola they serve as proof of clearing trials and grand trials in the island challenge, a role similar to Gym Badges elsewhere, though some Z-Crystals are found in other ways.
