Overview

The story follows two 17-year-old brothers, Troy and Marc. Marc Pedroza is the school crush, valedictorian, president of the school's dance crew, and has a perfect loving family. He wants to prove he can be more than what his parents want him to be. His perfect life turns out not to be so perfect when he learns his father Nestor has a son Troy Cabrera out of wedlock. After a performance, the girl faints, teachers discover what happened, and both students are expelled; Marc, as head of the dance crew, is punished. That afternoon, Marc finds out about Troy, whose mother has died from an illness, so Troy must live with his father's family. Troy and Marc do not get along but both love to dance. Marc's dance crew discovers Troy is a good dancer and invites him to join along with Geleen. Conflicts arise: Marc and Monique have broken up because Monique learned Marc courted her on a bet; Ara loves Marc but he uses her as an alibi; Maribeth is courted by Spencer and Gab, choosing Spencer. A big dance competition against Ralion occurs, and new twists develop among the characters.

Cast and characters

Sam Concepcion plays Marc Pedroza, called The Good Son. He is the legitimate son of the principal, president of the dance troupe, and a candidate for valedictorian. Monique is his ex-girlfriend; he is best friends with Ara but still loves Monique and eventually gets back together with her, leaving Ara heartbroken. He later becomes best buddies with his brother Troy. Enrique Gil portrays Troy Cabrera, The Illegitimate Son, raised solely by his mother. After her death he becomes a rebel and must live with his real father's family. He has a crush on Geleen and becomes her boyfriend, eventually becoming a good boy who is always there for his brother. Arron Villaflor plays Franco Mendoza, The Best friend of Marc, well known in school and seemingly 'presko' with girls; he falls in love with Marc's sister. Coleen Garcia is Monique Castillejo, The Ex, from a middle-class family of achievers who wants to be valedictorian. She ignores Marc after their breakup but secretly admires him and still loves him. She becomes close to Ralion but defends Marc from Ralion's bullying, and in the end she and Marc rekindle their relationship. Yen Santos plays Dayanara 'Ara' Gonzales, The Secret Admirer, a popular girl secretly in love with Marc. She is a member of the dance troupe but not good at dancing, so she becomes the group's manager. She eventually gives way for Marc to return to Monique.
