The program occupied the Friday 11:30 pm to 12:15 am slot, following Bandila, while Banana Nite, a Banana Split spin-off, ran Monday through Thursday. Its possibility emerged in 2011 when Nievera signed with ABS-CBN; he told the Philippine Entertainment Portal he only agreed after a talk show was included. He confirmed the show on Twitter on February 19, 2013, and a teaser on February 23 dubbed him the "Big Mouth." The show drew low ratings from the start. On April 25–27, 2013, Nievera tweeted grievances about the network's "lack of support," citing no band or live audience and saying he could not compete alone. He apologized on May 1, claiming he was "not upset." ABS-CBN confirmed the show's cancellation in early May 2013, effective May 31.
