Reader's Guide
This super-tier artifact functions as a powerful mental restraint and loyalty enhancer. It is permanently attuned to Albedo's soul and cannot be removed by anyone other than its creator or through specific high-level commands. When worn, the crown suppresses any personality traits or desires that conflict with Ainz Ooal Gown's interests, effectively rewriting her subconscious to prioritize his safety above all else. It acts as a failsafe against mind control spells, ensuring she remains immune to manipulation by enemies. Only Albedo can wield this item effectively due to the specific customization of its enchantments.
Did You Know?
- The crown was not customized by Suzuki Satoru (Momonga) reflecting human intent; Albedo's base settings and gear were entirely established by Tabula Smaragdina before Momonga logged in.
- Without this artifact, Albedo's original settings would have made her generally loyal to the Supreme Beings but with a promiscuous personality, not racially hostile.
- The crown is described as a simple golden circlet in the light novel, not specifically matching Albedo's gothic-lolita aesthetic.
