Narberal Gamma

The beautiful adventurer who hides a terrifying magical prowess beneath her human guise.

Narberal Gamma is a member of the Pleiades, a group of NPCs dressed as maids who serve as Nazarick's last line of defense before the final floor. She operates under the direct command of Ainz Ooal Gown, often acting as his field agent or companion during missions outside the dungeon. While she possesses immense magical power capable of rivaling high-level adventurers, her primary function in the human world is to facilitate Ainz's activities while maintaining a cover identity.

Lore & Background

When venturing into the New World, Narberal adopts the persona of 'Nabe,' a high-ranking magic caster and adventurer traveling with Momon (Ainz's alias). She is forced by Ainz to maintain this disguise despite her overwhelming disdain for humans, whom she views as inferior 'bug' creatures. This internal conflict often leads to subtle moments where her true nature threatens to slip through her polite facade, especially when interacting with those who disrespect her master.

Reader's Guide

Her character arc revolves around her struggle to balance her absolute devotion to Ainz with her deep-seated contempt for humanity, which she views as inferior creatures unworthy of standing beside her master. In combat, she is a formidable magic caster specializing in offensive spells, capable of leveling up rapidly and utilizing high-tier magic that rivals the strongest adventurers. Her disguise abilities allow her to blend seamlessly into human society, though her personality often betrays her true nature through condescending remarks. Her defining moments include her initial introduction as 'Nabe' alongside Momon, where she inadvertently reveals her power during battles against the Slane Theocracy and various monsters. She frequently acts as a foil to Ainz's attempts at diplomacy, often resorting to lethal force when others threaten their mission or insult her master.
