Adrian Toomes, the inventor who flies in a suit of his own design.

The Vulture is the name of several Marvel Comics supervillains whose suits let them fly. The best known, Adrian Toomes, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and first appearing in The Amazing Spider-Man #2 (May 1963), is an inventive but maniacal genius who designed his own flight suit and turned to crime.

Background

Toomes became a recurring enemy of Spider-Man and a founding member of the Sinister Six. The first Vulture was an Italian scientist, Isidoro Scarlotti, who fought the original Human Torch in 1953; later Vultures include Blackie Drago, Toomes's former cellmate, who stole his suit. Michael Keaton played Toomes in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017).
