Lore & Background
It ships with a manual plus playbooks, two for defence and one for offence, and uses no real NFL team or player names. Computer Gaming World in 1992 praised its sophisticated playbook but said it felt years out of date, criticising its graphics and sound, the lack of a full season and weak defensive play.
