Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood season 3

Production

VH1 confirmed on August 3, 2016 that the third season of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood would premiere twelve days later. A brand new opening credits sequence was introduced. Nikki Mudarris and Princess Love, previously supporting players, were elevated to the main cast. Masika Kalysha also returned to the main cast after sitting out the prior season.

Fresh supporting cast members included producer Floyd "A1" Bentley, his wife Lyrica Anderson, Lyrica's mother Lyrica Garrett, A1's mother Pam Bentley, Safaree Samuels (formerly linked to Nicki Minaj), and fitness model Rosa Acosta. Minor supporting roles went to Ray J's mother Sonja Norwood and Kyesha Shalina, who was alleged to be Willie's mistress. Former main cast member Hazel E came back later in the season as a supporting player. On October 4, 2016, Soulja Boy claimed he left the show voluntarily, to which series creator Mona Scott-Young replied by sharing a meme.
