From 2001 to 2020, the Orem Owlz were a Minor League Baseball team based in Orem, Utah. They were a Rookie League affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels and played in the Pioneer League. Their home field was Home of the Owlz, located on the Utah Valley University campus.
Before 2005, the franchise was known as the Provo Angels. In 2021, as part of a broader contraction of Minor League Baseball, the Pioneer League—where the Owlz had played since their founding—was reorganized from an MLB-affiliated Rookie Advanced league into an independent league with MLB Partner League status. At the same time, the team moved to Windsor, Colorado, and was renamed the Northern Colorado Owlz.
The franchise began as the Provo Angels, playing at Larry H. Miller Field on the Brigham Young University campus in Provo from 2001 to 2004. After the 2004 season, new ownership moved the team to a new stadium in nearby Orem. The Owlz won five Pioneer League championships: one as the Provo Angels in 2004, and four as the Orem Owlz in 2005, 2007, 2009, and 2016.
The team is featured in the book Odd Man Out: A Year on the Mound with a Minor League Misfit, a memoir about a season with the Provo Angels. Owner Jeff Katofsky planned to relocate the team to Pueblo, Colorado, in 2020 as the Pueblo Owlz, but the city of Pueblo backed out due to financial concerns. Instead, the team moved to Windsor, Colorado, in 2021, becoming the Northern Colorado Owlz.
