Following the 2003 season, RN Motorsport was dissolved and their lone DBA4 03S was bought by Creation Autosportif. Creation initially maintained the basic layout of the initial design, but in 2005 they modified their chassis to better adapt to new LMP1 regulations, replacing the Zytek V8 with a larger 5000cc Judd GV5 V10. In 2006, Creation was forced to heavily modify their car to meet hybrid regulations. With the aid of KW Motorsport, they created their own unique car which differed greatly from Zytek's own 06S. Since Creation had carried out the modifications, they chose to rename the car the Creation CA06/H. The CA06/H was no longer legal in 2007, prompting Creation to create an entirely new chassis that retained elements of the CA06/H's bodywork, termed the Creation CA07.

Reader's Guide

The Creation CA06/H represents the final evolution of the Reynard 02S lineage under Creation Autosportif. Its significance lies in how it adapted a fundamentally older design to meet the 2006 hybrid regulations, a challenge that forced both Zytek and Creation to heavily rework their cars. While Zytek's 06S took a different engineering path, Creation's CA06/H demonstrated the flexibility of the original Reynard concept by accommodating a larger Judd V10 engine and extensive bodywork changes. In competition, the CA06/H achieved notable success: Creation Autosportif took second in the 2006 Le Mans Series championship, and at the fourth round at Donington, both CA06/H chassis finished on the podium in one of the team's strongest performances. At the 2006 24 Hours of Le Mans, problems late in the race prevented a repeat of the previous year's finish. The CA06/H also competed in the final American Le Mans Series rounds, taking pole position at Petit Le Mans and finishing fourth, followed by a third at Laguna Seca. After 2006, the CA06/Hs were sold as Creation moved to the all-new CA07 chassis.
