Characters
Robin Hood, the teenage son of the Earl of Locksley, is voiced by Tom Wayland. His allies Tuck and Little John, voiced by Eli James and Jake Paque, work together to thwart Prince John’s schemes. Prince John is voiced by David Nelson in the first two seasons and by Barrett Leddy from season three onward. The Sheriff, based on the Sheriff of Nottingham, is voiced by David Wills, and his twin sons Rolf and Ralf are voiced by Billy Bob Thompson and Marc Thompson. Marian, based on Maid Marian, is an apprentice magician who acts as a spy inside Prince John’s castle; she is voiced by Sarah Natochenny in seasons one and two and by Kara Edwards from season three onward. Derke is a dragon that Marian turned into a hamster. Scarlett, based on Will Scarlet, is voiced by Eileen Stevens. Flynn is a dog the Sheriff uses to track Robin. Production
Development for Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood began in April 2011, when Method Animation and DQ Entertainment announced a new CGI animated series de-aging Robin Hood to a 10-year-old for teen audiences, focusing on his early days. DQ Entertainment handled animation production services. In April 2012, TF1 and ATV joined as co-production partners to broadcast the series in France and Turkey.
