Pat the Dog is an animated children's television series created by Patrick Ermosilla. It follows the adventures of a dog named Pat as he tries to rescue his owner Lola from various troubles. The series is based on the mobile app game Space Dog by Sylvain Seynhaeve.

Pat is the protagonist, an intelligent, brave, kindhearted, mechanically inclined dog hero who protects those he cares about. Lola is Pat and Hoodie's owner, sharing a special bond with Pat but often unaware of his adventures, which usually revolve around her. Victor is Lola's next-door neighbor and troublemaker, sometimes an antagonist and sometimes a rival, whose parents do not show their faces. Hoodie is Lola's other pet, a cute, fluffy, cheerful cat who wears a hood, is harmless, and gets easily distracted by birds. Tank is Victor's pit bull, loyal to his owner and a rival to Pat. The Triplet Birds are antagonists and rivals of Pat, though the reason for their enmity is unknown. Poulette is a featherless chicken often accidentally hit or bullied by Pat. Lucy is Lola's best friend, and Hugo is another friend of Lola and Lucy. Mum and Dad are Lola's parents. Honorine is Lola's elderly babysitter who owns a hamster named Pompom. Marcel is a thief, and Squizel is his mouse.
