Gormiti is a CGI animated television series co-produced by Giochi Preziosi, Planeta Junior and Kotoc Produccions, based on the toy line of the same name. It is unrelated to the two prior animated series in the franchise. The show was first unveiled at MIPJunior in October 2017 and began airing in the United States, Spain, and Italy in the fall of 2018.

The 2018 Gormiti series first appeared on Spanish television via Boing on September 10, 2018, and was later shown on Clan, ETB 3, À Punt, and Neox. In Italy, the initial five episodes became available on TIMvision and RaiPlay on September 21, 2018, before their regular TV premiere on Rai Gulp and Rai Yoyo on October 1, 2018. Canadian viewers could watch the English version on Teletoon from April 5, 2019, with the French-language broadcast following on Télétoon on May 10, 2019. France saw its debut on Canal J on January 9, 2019, then on Gulli Africa in April 2019, and finally on Gulli on May 30. In Portugal, the show aired on Panda Kids, while in Croatia it was on RTL Kockica. Uzbekistan’s Aqlvoy and Kazakhstan’s Balapan also carried the series. The United Kingdom began airing it on CITV on September 2, 2019, and Greece followed on Keedoo in September 2019. Tatarstan’s Shayan TV started broadcasting in November 2023. Russia’s Karusel TV picked it up on July 12, 2019, and Turkey’s Cartoon Network on March 2, 2020. Across the Middle East and North Africa, Spacetoon and Majid Kids TV began airing it in September 2019. Brazil’s Gloob and Globoplay started in 2025, as did Latin America’s Canela TV. Sri Lanka’s TV Derana began in 2021. In Central and Eastern Europe, it was on Prima Max and TVP ABC. Estonia’s KidZone Max, Israel’s Zoom, and various US platforms—Netflix, Tubi TV, The Roku Channel, Prime Video, Pluto TV, and YouTube—also distributed the series.
